Driftwood Cove is located on Lake Nantahala a paradise for outdoor enthusiast- swim, boat, hike, fish or just relax. Located between the towns of Andrews and Franklin, both a 1/2 hour ride from the house.

Driftwood Cove is 3 story home :

MAIN LEVEL :

The main level has an open family room with 2 story wall of windows allowing gorgeous views of the lake and mountains, stone fireplace, built ins, Flat Panel 52 inch TV,  Pine Ceiling. Dining room opens to kitchen. Kitchen is fully equipped, many upgrades. All wood floors. Screened in patio. Two bedrooms with queen beds and 2 baths are also on main floor. Also has expansive outdoor decking.

UPSTAIRS:

Upstairs has open loft with pull out sofa. 2 additional separate bedrooms . One bedroom has 5 twins and other has 2 twins (can be pushed together for king) and an additional bathroom.

BASEMENT:

Downstairs has semi finished basement with ping pong table, sitting area , laundry room and additional bathroom. Wrap around deck.

STAIRS TO PRIVATE DOCK:

Outdoor stairs lead to private dock- paddle boat and canoe are included for our tenants usage.

Bring your own boat or rent one at the local marina Lakes End.

LAKE NANTAHALA

Lake Nantahala is an undiscovered picturesque Lake surrounded by the mountains of the National Forest - close to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park . Its waters are pristine, it is one of the higher elevation lakes in North Carolina. 

This natural setting affords you the opportunities for many outdoor activities including boating, canoeing, watersports, hiking the Appalachian Trail, Mountain Biking at Tsali, Water White Rafting at the Nantahala Outdoors Center , fly fishing in the local streams. 

WIRELESS INTERNET IS available for a small fee.
