Nantahala Lake is located between Franklin NC and Andrews NC and is only a 2 1/2 hour drive from Atlanta, GA! Nantahala Lake is an undiscovered beauty surrounded by only National Forests and other private homes. Nearby activities include white-water rafting at the Nantahala Outdoors Center, swimming, hiking, fishing and the Cherokee Indian Reservation and Casino. The house is located on the eastern side of the Lake with easy access to the main road (Wayah Road). You'll see breathtaking mountain and lake views from both the upper and lower decks. The outdoor stairs allow easy access to our private lakefront dock. Boat rentals are available at a nearby marina or you can bring your own boat and dock it at the house. The cove is a perfect spot to swim and fish off the dock. There is a canoe and paddleboat available for our guests to use. For those who can't leave work behind, wireless Internet access is now available.
